Funeral Prayers Offered for Martyred District and Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar

QUETTA: Funeral prayers were offered for District and Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar, who was martyred in a terrorist firing incident in Mastung. He was later laid to rest amid tight security arrangements.

According to Syed Amin, Staff Officer to Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the funeral and burial were attended by provincial ministers, advisers, members of the Balochistan Assembly, senior civil and military officials, members of the judiciary, lawyers, and a large number of local dignitaries.

Participants paid tribute to the martyred judge for his dedicated service to the country and his commitment to upholding the rule of law. Special prayers were offered for the elevation of his ranks and for patience and strength for his bereaved family.

Syed Amin said that strict and comprehensive security measures were put in place during the funeral and burial ceremonies.

The Government of Balochistan reaffirmed its resolve that the terrorists responsible for targeting law enforcers and judicial officials, along with their facilitators, would be brought to justice. It also pledged that state institutions would continue their operations with full determination to eliminate terrorism and restore lasting peace across the province.
