Balochistan’s Future Lies with Pakistan, Progress Comes Through Education, Not Guns: Home Minister Ziaullah Langove

Quetta: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has said that the province’s future is inseparable from Pakistan and that lasting progress can only be achieved through education, knowledge, and awareness rather than violence.

Speaking during meetings with delegations of young people in Quetta, Langove said terrorism, extremism, and violence bring nothing but destruction and darkness, while the power of the pen enables nations to achieve development and prosperity.

He urged young people to reject the path of violence and extremism, saying it not only endangers their own lives but also undermines peace and stability in Balochistan.

The home minister said that young people who take up arms and head to the mountains put their futures at risk while harming the province’s development. He also expressed concern over the reported involvement of women in such activities, describing it as a worrying trend that should be discouraged.

Langove said Balochistan’s youth possess immense talent and, if they devote their energy to education, research, and other constructive activities, they can improve their own lives while making a meaningful contribution to the development of the province and the country.

He added that the provincial government is taking practical steps to provide better educational opportunities and facilities for young people so they can build a secure and brighter future.

The minister encouraged youth to stay away from negative activities, adopt a positive outlook, and play an active role in improving society through education and constructive engagement.
