Two-Year-Old Child Abducted Outside Home in Karachi Housing Society, Police Launch Investigation

Karachi: A two-year-old boy was allegedly abducted from outside his home in a private housing society on Manghopir Road, prompting police to register a kidnapping case and launch an investigation.

According to police, the child, identified as Azan Ali, went missing at around 8:40 p.m. while playing outside his home with his mother. Police said the mother briefly went inside the house to change her shoes, and when she returned, the child was no longer there.

Investigators have obtained CCTV footage from the area, which reportedly shows a man on a motorcycle taking the child out of the housing society. The suspect was wearing a helmet, making identification more difficult.

Police said a case has been registered at Manghopir Police Station on the complaint of the child’s father, Wahab Ali, and further investigations are underway to trace the suspect and recover the child.

Meanwhile, residents and family members staged a protest demanding the immediate and safe recovery of Azan Ali. Women and children also participated in the demonstration, calling on authorities to intensify efforts to locate the missing child.
