Global Oil Prices Rise Following Exchange of Strikes Between the US and Iran

ISLAMABAD: Global oil prices continued to climb after reports of reciprocal military strikes between the United States and Iran, raising concerns over potential disruptions to energy supplies and increasing geopolitical tensions.
According to the latest market data, Brent crude, the international benchmark, rose to US$84 per barrel.
Foreign media reports also said that West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was trading at US$79 per barrel.
Meanwhile, Murban crude also increased, reaching US$79 per barrel.
The rise in oil prices reflects growing uncertainty in global energy markets as investors closely monitor developments in the Middle East and their potential impact on crude oil supplies.
