Two Brothers Injured in Karachi During Mobile Phone Snatching Incident
KARACHI: Two real brothers were injured after unidentified armed robbers opened fire on them during a mobile phone snatching incident near Darul Uloom Madrasa in Gulshan Noor, Surjani Town, on Thursday morning.
According to police, the victims, identified as 40-year-old Muhammad Naseem, son of Muhammad Bakhsh, and 45-year-old Tasleem Akhtar, son of Muhammad Bakhsh, were on their way to work at a private company when they were intercepted by armed assailants.
The suspects allegedly snatched their mobile phones at gunpoint near the madrasa. When the brothers offered resistance, the robbers opened fire, leaving both men with bullet injuries to their legs and hips before fleeing the scene with the stolen phones.
The injured brothers were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by Chhipa Ambulance Service for medical treatment.
Police said statements of the victims have been recorded, and an investigation is underway to identify and arrest the suspects involved in the robbery and shooting.
