Report Claims Iran Raised Concerns Over Trump Envoys During Private Talks with U.S. Vice President

Washington:A U.S. news website has claimed that Iranian officials privately warned U.S. Vice President **J.D. Vance** that President Donald Trump’s special envoy **Steve Witkoff** and senior adviser **Jared Kushner** were allegedly misusing their access to nuclear negotiations for financial gain.

According to the report, Iranian officials conveyed the message during talks held in **Switzerland** last month, arguing that the presence of Witkoff and Kushner would hinder the chances of reaching a lasting agreement because, they claimed, the two were more interested in benefiting from financial markets than securing a diplomatic deal.

The website further alleged that profits generated through the alleged market manipulation had reached **$9 billion by June**. However, the Trump administration has firmly rejected the accusations.

The report also claimed that Iranian negotiators objected to Witkoff and Kushner allegedly keeping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed about key developments in the negotiations. A U.S. official was quoted by another website as saying that the two had been in near-daily contact with the Israeli prime minister and the head of Mossad since the negotiations began.

According to the report, Iranian officials had also submitted written documents through intermediaries for President Trump before the signing of a memorandum of understanding in Islamabad, alleging that individuals close to the president were engaged in financial market activities linked to the negotiations.

White House spokesperson **Anna Kelly** dismissed the report as **”Iranian propaganda.”** However, sources close to Vice President Vance reportedly confirmed that Iranian officials openly expressed objections to Witkoff and Kushner’s participation in the talks.

The report also stated that Iranian officials believed Witkoff lacked diplomatic experience and had misrepresented Iran’s position on key issues, including uranium enrichment, during negotiations held in **Oman** and **Switzerland** before the conflict. Iranian officials were also said to have requested an expansion of the U.S. negotiating team.
