Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Announce Plan to Halt Regional Energy Exports Amid U.S. Naval Blockade

Tehran:** Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it will halt energy exports from the Middle East in response to what it described as a U.S. naval blockade.

In a statement, the IRGC said it would shut down all export routes that benefit the United States and its allies.

“The region’s energy exports will either be available to everyone or to no one,” the statement declared, signaling a major escalation in the ongoing standoff.

Meanwhile, an Iranian military spokesperson said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until the United States recognizes what Tehran described as Iran’s legitimate system of governance.
