Earthquake Tremors Shake Shangla and Nearby Areas, No Immediate Damage Reported

Peshawar: Earthquake tremors were felt in Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and surrounding areas, causing panic among residents.

As the tremors were felt, people rushed out of their homes, shops, and other buildings while reciting prayers. Many residents remained in open areas for some time as a precaution against possible aftershocks.

According to initial reports, there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.

District authorities and relevant emergency agencies have begun assessing the situation in the affected areas. The seismic monitoring authorities had not immediately released details regarding the earthquake’s magnitude, depth, or epicenter.
