Families of Five Punjab Workers Killed in Balochistan Await Justice and Return of Their Loved Ones

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Grief has engulfed the homes of the five laborers from Punjab who were killed in Balochistan, as their families await the return of their bodies and demand justice for the victims.

The deceased included two workers from Khanpur in Rahim Yar Khan district, one from Narowal, and two from Pasrur in Sialkot district.

Among the victims was Bilal Ghani of Khanpur, whose death has left his family devastated. He is survived by his three-year-old daughter, who is reportedly still waiting for her father’s return.

Another victim, 18-year-old Mohsin Ali from Narowal, was the eldest among seven siblings. According to his family, he had traveled to Balochistan only 15 days ago in search of work to help support his household.

The other victims were identified as Hassan and Qadeer from Pasrur, and Muhammad Bilal from Khanpur.

The bereaved families have urged the government to bring those responsible for the killings to justice without delay. They also called for stronger security measures to protect laborers, particularly those who travel to other provinces in search of employment, and to ensure the safety of workers across the country.
