Cement prices remain high across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Cement prices in Pakistan continue to remain elevated, with the cost of a 50-kilogram bag varying across different regions and brands.

According to the latest market data, cement prices are currently ranging between Rs1,350 and Rs1,550 per bag, while the average market rate stands between Rs1,390 and Rs1,450.

Industry observers attribute the variation in prices to transportation costs, regional demand and brand-specific factors.

Among the leading brands, Maple Leaf Cement remains one of the most expensive options, with a price of Rs1,570 per bag, while Paidar Cement is among the comparatively lower-priced brands in the market.
