Trump Warns Iran of ‘Severe Consequences’ Over Any Assassination Attempt

U.S. President **Donald Trump** has warned Iran that it would face severe consequences if it carried out any assassination attempt against him.

Speaking on the issue, Trump claimed that Iran has around **1,000 missiles** ready to be launched. He said that if Tehran attempted to act on what he described as threats against his life, the United States would respond with thousands more missiles.

Trump further stated that he has already authorized the U.S. military to take overwhelming action if necessary, including orders to completely destroy Iranian military capabilities in response to any such attack.
