Iran Urges UN to Hold US Accountable for ‘Illegal Actions

Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, **Amir Saeid Iravani**, has accused the United States of engaging in unlawful actions and called on the UN to hold Washington accountable.

Speaking at the United Nations, Iravani said the United States bears full legal and political responsibility for the consequences arising from what he described as its illegal actions.

He urged the UN to take effective and decisive measures to prevent what he called unlawful aggression by the United States and to ensure compliance with international law.

The Iranian envoy also stressed that the international body should ensure the United States fully upholds its legal obligations and responsibilities.
