Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Leader Urges PM and Army Chief to Meet Families of Victims

Quetta: Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan chief and Member of the Provincial Assembly Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch has urged Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Army Chief to meet the families of those killed in the recent incidents in Ziarat and Hanna Urak, warning that failure to address their concerns could increase public unrest in Balochistan.

Speaking to various delegations at the party’s provincial secretariat in Quetta, Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch described the recent terrorist incidents in Ziarat, Hanna Urak, and other areas as deeply tragic. He said protecting human life is the state’s fundamental responsibility and called for effective measures to restore law and order, safeguard citizens, and combat militant groups.

He appealed for immediate justice, financial assistance, and comprehensive relief for the families affected by the attacks in Ziarat, Hanna Urak, and other impacted areas.

The Jamaat-e-Islami leader also said that political, tribal, and social leaders should express solidarity with the bereaved families during this difficult time. He added that his party and its workers stand with the affected families and support what he described as their legitimate demands.

Hidayat ur Rehman Baloch emphasized that lasting peace, protection of public rights, and sustainable development in Balochistan require sincere and practical measures, expressing hope that peace, justice, and stability would pave the way for the province’s progress and prosperity.
