Iranian Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir

Islamabad: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to discuss the latest developments in the region, according to Iranian state media.
During the call, Araghchi condemned the recent U.S. attacks against Iran and exchanged views with Field Marshal Asim Munir on the evolving regional security situation.
Separately, the Iranian foreign minister also held telephone discussions with Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the talks focused on recent regional developments, including the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, with the ministers emphasizing the importance of using diplomatic channels to prevent further escalation.
Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry said Hakan Fidan and Abbas Araghchi also discussed the current regional situation and efforts to maintain the ceasefire.
