PM Shehbaz Chairs Balochistan Apex Committee Meeting; Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir Among Top Participants
Quetta: A key meeting of the Provincial Apex Committee under the National Action Plan (NAP) has begun in Quetta under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The meeting is being attended by Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and the heads of various law enforcement agencies.
Federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal Cheema (Ahsan/Ahad Khan Cheema? if officially Ahad Khan Cheema as reported), Attaullah Tarar, and Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah are also participating in the high-level session.
The meeting is expected to review the overall law and order situation in Balochistan and discuss measures under the National Action Plan to strengthen security and counter terrorism in the province.
