Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Calls for Nationwide Protest on February 8, 2026, Urges Public and Traders to Support Strike

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** The Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) has called for a nationwide protest on **February 8, 2026**, demanding the supremacy of the Constitution, democratic governance, the release of Imran Khan and all political prisoners, the restoration of the public mandate, and empowering Parliament as the central source of authority. The party has appealed to all pro-democracy, conscious, and patriotic citizens of the province to actively participate in the strike and show solidarity by raising black flags at homes, shops, and offices.
Speaking at meetings of the Tehsil Saryab and other regional units, PMAP Deputy Chairman **Abdul Rauf Lala**, Central General Secretary **Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal**, Central Secretary **Dr. Hamid Khan Achakzai**, Provincial Senior Vice President **Syed Sharaf Agha**, and other provincial and district leaders emphasized that party workers are responsible for ensuring the success of the strike.
The speakers criticized the February 8, 2024 elections, saying that the public’s voting rights were hijacked and fake representatives were imposed, resulting in widespread darkness, ignorance, poverty, unemployment, and illegal governance. They added that political instability and undemocratic amendments had undermined Parliament’s authority and left the country isolated internationally.
The party stated that the only solution to the country’s crises is a **roundtable conference proposed by PMAP Chairman and Chairman of Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain Pakistan, Mahmood Khan Achakzai**, bringing together politicians, judges, journalists, military officials, economists, and other stakeholders to find solutions and guide the country towards development, prosperity, and stability.
