U.S. Airstrikes Hit Railway Bridge in Northeastern Iran, State Media Reports

Tehran:Iranian state broadcaster **IRIB** has reported that U.S. forces carried out an airstrike on a railway bridge near **Aqqala** in **Golestan Province**, northeastern Iran.
According to the report, the attack occurred at approximately **1:30 a.m. local time**, when **seven missiles** were fired at the bridge. Iranian media said that **two of the missiles struck the railway tracks**, causing damage to the rail infrastructure.
No casualties have been officially reported in connection with the strike, and U.S. authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the reported attack.
The reported strike comes amid escalating military tensions between the United States and Iran, with both sides exchanging accusations following recent attacks targeting military and strategic infrastructure. Further independent verification of the incident remains pending.
