Former Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri Condemns Khuzdar Suicide Attack, Mourns Slain Police Personnel

Quetta: Former Balochistan Chief Minister and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri has strongly condemned the reported suicide attack on the residence of PPP leader Mir Shafiq-ur-Rehman Mengal in Khuzdar and expressed grief over the loss of lives in the incident.

In a statement, Zehri also expressed deep sorrow over the killing of police personnel who had been abducted in Ziarat, describing the incident as a tragic act of terrorism.

He said that no one would be allowed to disturb the peaceful environment of Khuzdar and termed the attack on Mir Shafiq Mengal’s residence and the loss of innocent civilian lives as highly regrettable and condemnable.

Zehri stated that terrorists are now targeting civilians by carrying out attacks in populated areas, calling the violence unacceptable and deserving of the strongest condemnation.

Referring to the recovery of the bodies of the abducted police personnel from Ziarat, he said that targeting officers responsible for protecting the public was an open act of terrorism.

The former chief minister urged the authorities to utilize all available resources and take effective measures to establish lasting peace in Balochistan, emphasizing the need for stronger efforts to restore security and protect citizens across the province.
