PM Shehbaz Sharif to Chair Apex Committee Meeting in Quetta Amid Security Concerns

Quetta: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to chair a meeting of the National Action Plan (NAP) Apex Committee in Quetta on Thursday to review the law and order situation in Balochistan.

According to sources, the meeting will be held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and will focus on the deteriorating security situation in the province.

The meeting is expected to be attended by Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, federal ministers, and senior officials from the country’s civil and military leadership, including top security agencies.

Participants are expected to review the overall security environment in Balochistan and discuss measures to strengthen counterterrorism efforts and restore law and order.

Sources said the Apex Committee is also expected to make key decisions regarding the province’s security and the implementation of the National Action Plan.
