Gold Prices Continue to Fall for Fifth Consecutive Day in Pakistan

Karachi: Gold prices continued their downward trend in both the local and international markets on Thursday, marking the fifth consecutive day of decline.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold in the local market fell by Rs4,700 per tola, bringing the new rate down to Rs430,236 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs4,029, settling at Rs368,858.

Meanwhile, silver prices also registered a decrease, with the price of one tola of silver dropping by Rs138 to Rs6,421.

In the international market, the price of gold fell by $47 per ounce, bringing the global rate down to $4,078 per ounce, contributing to the continued decline in domestic gold prices.
