Erdogan Says Trump Promised Delivery of Five F-35 Fighter Jets

Islamabad: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said that he has been assured of the delivery of five F-35 fighter jets, adding that U.S. President Donald Trump has personally promised progress on the matter.

Speaking about the long-standing F-35 issue, President Erdoğan said he believes President Trump will honor his commitment, expressing confidence that a positive decision will be made regarding Türkiye’s participation in the F-35 program.

Erdoğan stated that Trump has consistently kept his promises, which is why he remains optimistic that the fighter jet issue will be resolved through cooperation between the two countries.
