Mir Liaquat Lehri Says Multi-Million-Rupee Development Projects Underway in Quetta
QUETTA: Mir Liaquat Lehri has said that the Balochistan government is utilizing all available resources to address public issues, adding that development projects worth millions of rupees are progressing rapidly in his constituency.
Speaking during meetings with tribal elders, political figures, and local residents at Lehri House in Quetta, Lehri said the ongoing projects would help provide essential public services at people’s doorsteps once completed.
The parliamentary secretary said the Pakistan Peoples Party believes in serving all citizens without discrimination and is committed to resolving public problems through effective use of available resources.
Lehri claimed that, for the first time in the province’s history, the coalition government led by the Pakistan Peoples Party has ensured equal allocation of development funds to all provincial constituencies. He added that development schemes worth billions of rupees are currently being implemented across Balochistan.
He said his priority is to improve access to clean drinking water, healthcare, and other basic public services in his constituency to reduce the difficulties faced by residents.
According to Lehri, several development projects financed through his constituency development funds are either under construction or have already been completed, with local communities beginning to benefit from the completed schemes.
He also assured residents that the issues identified by people in his constituency would be addressed on a priority basis.
