Five Tourists Dead, Three Missing After Boat Capsizes on Saifullah Lake in Swat

Swat:At least **five members of the same family** died after a tourist boat capsized on **Saifullah Lake** in the Kalam area of Upper Swat, while **three others remain missing**, according to local authorities.

Police said the family of eight was enjoying a boating trip at the popular tourist destination when the boat suddenly lost balance and overturned in deep water.

Rescue teams, police, and local authorities rushed to the scene after the incident and launched a search operation. Due to the lake’s strong current, the bodies of five victims were later recovered near the **Mahodand** area.

Search efforts for the remaining three missing family members continued despite nightfall, with rescue personnel and local divers working to locate them.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, and the search operation remains ongoing.
