TikToker Ali Haider Abadi Denies Abuse Allegations, Releases Video Statement

Lahore:Pakistani TikToker Ali Haider Abadi has rejected all allegations made by his former wife, Zainab, following the circulation of a divorce video on social media and her public appeal for protection to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

In a video statement, Ali Haider Abadi held a copy of the Quran and said he had not intended to discuss his family matters publicly but felt compelled to respond after what he described as “false allegations” of physical abuse made against him.

He claimed the viral divorce video clearly shows that he did not assault his former wife and said he intentionally recorded the incident because he anticipated accusations would later be made against him. According to him, members of his former wife’s family attempted to take his phone at the end of the recording to prevent him from keeping evidence.

Ali further stated that he had rented a house and an apartment for the couple, but Zainab refused to move there and instead insisted they continue living with her family. He also claimed that he wanted her to relocate with him to Hyderabad, but she declined.

Responding to allegations of death threats, the TikToker denied making any threats and said he was willing to cooperate with authorities. He added that he respects Pakistan’s institutions and is prepared to present all available evidence if called upon to do so.
