Three Killed, Including Woman and Two Children, as Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Trigger House Collapses in Zhob

Zhob: At least three people, including a woman and two children, were killed, while 10 others were injured, after heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds caused several houses to collapse in Zhob city and its surrounding areas.
According to hospital sources, three separate incidents of house collapses occurred in the Nai Abadi area during the storm. Among the victims were 50-year-old Tanzeela, 11-year-old Salman Shah, and two-and-a-half-year-old Maria Bibi.
The bodies of the deceased and the injured were shifted to the Trauma Centre, where hospital officials said the injured are in satisfactory condition and are receiving medical treatment.
Following the incident, Municipal Committee Chairman Shah Baran Kakar arrived at the scene along with rescue teams and municipal staff to supervise relief operations. Rescue personnel cleared the debris and assisted in transporting the victims to the hospital.
Authorities are continuing to assess the damage caused by the severe weather, while residents have been urged to take precautionary measures as adverse weather conditions may persist.
