Over 107,000 Pakistanis Register for Hajj 2026 as Registration Continues

Islamabad: The registration process for Hajj 2026 is continuing under Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, with 107,587 applicants completing their registration from the comfort of their homes through the official system.

According to the ministry, 85,000 applicants have opted for the Government Hajj Scheme, while approximately 22,000 have chosen the Private Hajj Scheme. Online registration will remain open for several more days without interruption.

Provincial data shows that Punjab has recorded the highest number of registrations with 51,000 applicants, followed by Sindh with 33,000, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 15,000, Islamabad with 5,500, Balochistan with 2,000, Azad Jammu and Kashmir with 600, and Gilgit-Baltistan with two registrations.

Of the total applicants, 63,000 are men and 44,000 are women. Around 56,000 pilgrims have selected the long Hajj package, while 51,000 have opted for the short Hajj package.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised intending pilgrims who have not yet registered to complete the process within the remaining registration period to secure their eligibility for Hajj 2026.
