Several Motorcyclists Injured as Slippery Road Causes Accidents on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal

KARACHI: Several motorcycles and a car were involved in accidents on Shahrah-e-Faisal after light drizzle made the road surface slippery, with videos of the incidents rapidly spreading across social media.

Viral footage shows motorcycles skidding one after another on the rain-soaked roadway, causing several riders to fall and sustain minor injuries. The accidents also disrupted traffic flow in the area for a short period.

A car can also be seen losing control and mounting the footpath. Fortunately, no major casualties or serious injuries have been reported.

The videos further show concerned citizens warning motorcyclists to exercise caution and reduce their speed while traveling through the affected stretch of road.

Some bystanders were also seen attempting to stop approaching riders from entering the hazardous section in an effort to prevent additional accidents.

Authorities have advised motorists and motorcyclists to remain vigilant during wet weather conditions, as even light rainfall can make road surfaces slippery and increase the risk of accidents.
