Iran Warns of Strong Response to Any Violation of Agreement, Says Parliament Speaker

TEHRAN: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that Iran will respond firmly to any violation of an agreement or the imposition of unreasonable demands by the opposing side.
In a statement posted on X, Ghalibaf said that Iran’s Supreme Leader has tasked authorities with ensuring the full implementation of the agreement’s terms and conditions.
He stressed that if the other party demonstrates bad faith, breaches the agreement, or makes excessive demands, Iran will not hesitate to deliver a strong and decisive response.
Ghalibaf further stated that Iran’s adversaries had already been taught a lesson during the recent conflict. He warned that if they choose to follow the same path again, they would face an even tougher reaction this time.
The remarks come amid ongoing discussions regarding the implementation and monitoring of the agreement, with Iranian officials emphasizing their commitment to safeguarding the country’s interests while insisting that all parties adhere to their obligations.
