Trump Meets UAE President at G7 Summit, Calls Sheikh Mohamed a ‘Warrior’

Paris: US President Donald Trump met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France, where the two leaders discussed regional security and developments in the Middle East.

According to Arab media reports from Abu Dhabi, President Trump praised Sheikh Mohamed, describing him as a “warrior” and an influential leader.

UAE media reported that Sheikh Mohamed thanked Trump for American support during the Iran conflict and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation on regional stability.

The meeting also included discussions on the security situation in the Gulf region and the status of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical maritime trade routes.

During the talks, President Trump expressed hope that the Strait of Hormuz would be fully reopened by Friday, a development that could help ease concerns over global energy supplies and maritime trade.

The meeting highlighted ongoing coordination between the United States and the United Arab Emirates on key regional and international issues.
