Aleema Khan Says Party Leadership Advised Mahmood Achakzai to Shorten Protest Duration

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, has claimed that the party leadership advised Mahmood Khan Achakzai to reduce the duration of a planned sit-in protest.

Speaking to the media on Adiala Road in Rawalpindi, Aleema Khan said that senior party leaders had suggested changing the timing of the protest, assuring Achakzai that they would bring 10,000 supporters to participate.

She stated that the decision to alter the protest schedule was made at Achakzai’s request based on the assurances provided by the party leadership.

Aleema Khan further questioned the party leaders over their commitment, saying they should be asked why the promised turnout of 10,000 people did not materialize despite their claims.

Her remarks come amid ongoing discussions within opposition circles regarding the organization, strategy, and public participation in protest activities.
