PTI Senator Faisal Javed Says Public Will Decide Whether Budget Is Good or Bad

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Faisal Javed Khan has said that neither the government nor the opposition can accurately determine the success of the federal budget, insisting that the final judgment rests with the people of Pakistan.
Speaking during a Senate session on the budget, Faisal Javed said that ordinary citizens are the true measure of whether the budget delivers relief and benefits to the public.
He also criticized fuel pricing policies, claiming that while petroleum product prices are declining in international markets, fuel remains expensive in Pakistan.
“The price of petrol in Pakistan is close to Rs400 per litre,” he said while questioning the government’s economic policies.
The PTI senator further asked what had become of the development projects initiated during his party’s tenure in government.
“Where are the projects that we left behind for Pakistan?” he questioned during his speech.
Faisal Javed also called for the release of PTI leaders currently imprisoned, stating that several party members remain behind bars and should be brought out of jail.
His remarks came during the ongoing Senate debate on the federal budget, where lawmakers from both the government and opposition benches continue to present their views on the country’s economic priorities and fiscal policies.
