Turkey, Qatar and UK Welcome US-Iran Peace Agreement, Call It a Major Step Toward Regional Stability

World leaders, including those from Türkiye, Qatar and the United Kingdom, have welcomed the peace agreement reached between the United States and Iran, describing it as an important development for stability and long-term peace in the Middle East.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan praised the agreement, saying it could pave the way for a lasting environment of peace and security across the region.
Erdoğan urged all parties to avoid inflammatory rhetoric and provocative actions, warning of the potential for attempts to undermine the agreement. He stressed the need for vigilance and emphasized that the region has long required a stable and peaceful environment.
The Turkish president also stated that Ankara remains ready to continue supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at strengthening regional peace and cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Qatar welcomed the agreement and called on all parties to participate in future negotiations with a constructive and positive approach. He also expressed appreciation to Pakistan and other regional and international stakeholders whose diplomatic efforts helped facilitate the breakthrough.
In the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Keir Starmer also welcomed the agreement between Washington and Tehran and congratulated the United States, Pakistan, Qatar and other parties involved in the peace process.
Starmer emphasized that maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz should be restored without delay to ensure the smooth flow of global trade and economic activity.
The positive international response highlights growing optimism that the agreement could help reduce regional tensions, strengthen diplomatic engagement and contribute to lasting peace across the Middle East.
