Defence Minister Khawaja Asif Warns “Misguided Elements” in Azad Kashmir Over Loyalty to State

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that some “misguided brothers” in Azad Kashmir are allegedly pursuing an agenda.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, the minister stated that certain individuals in the region are acting under a specific agenda and urged them to carefully review the Constitution of Pakistan.

He referenced Article 5 of the Constitution, stating that it requires every citizen to maintain unwavering loyalty to the state. Khawaja Asif further remarked that any political dialogue must begin with full allegiance and obedience to the state.

The statement comes amid ongoing political tensions and debates regarding governance and law and order in the region.
