Qatar Praises Pakistan’s Peace Efforts, Commends PM Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir

Islamabad (Kudrat Daily) — Qatar has praised Pakistan’s diplomatic and peace initiatives, appreciating the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their role in promoting regional stability.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a telephone call from Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, during which key regional and diplomatic matters were discussed.

During the conversation, the Qatari Prime Minister lauded Pakistan’s leadership, stating that both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir played a pivotal role in effectively advancing diplomatic efforts. He added that Qatar values Pakistan’s contribution to peace and hopes these initiatives will help establish lasting stability in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Qatar for its support of Pakistan’s peace efforts and expressed optimism that relevant stakeholders would soon be ready to sign a peace agreement.

He also reiterated an invitation to Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to visit Pakistan, noting that both sides had already agreed in principle on the visit.

Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the future. The Prime Minister extended best wishes to the Emir and the people of Qatar, reaffirming strong bilateral ties between the two countries.
