FPCCI Terms Federal Budget 2026–27 as Business and Growth Friendly

Islamabad (Kudrat Daily) — The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has described the Federal Budget 2026–27 as business-friendly and supportive of economic growth.
The FPCCI praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, and their economic team for presenting a balanced and development-oriented budget.
FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh, in a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, congratulated the government and said that the finance minister and his team deserve appreciation for introducing a growth-friendly fiscal plan amid challenging global and regional conditions.
He noted that the Prime Minister has achieved a milestone by successfully presenting five consecutive federal budgets, which reflects strong commitment to economic stability and governance.
The FPCCI highlighted key measures including relief in bank markup rates for exporters, abolition of super tax, introduction of a simplified fixed tax scheme for traders, tax reforms, and the digitalization process of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
The chamber also expressed its commitment to working with the government to strengthen Pakistan’s economy and improve the overall business environment.
