Balochistan Health Department Suspends 23 Doctors Over Misconduct and Strike Participation

QUETTA: The Balochistan Health Department has suspended 23 doctors and issued show-cause notices to 25 others for alleged misconduct and participation in a strike.
According to officials, disciplinary action was taken against the doctors following reports of disruptions in healthcare services at government hospitals across the province.
In addition to the suspensions, the Health Department has also suspended the postgraduate training registrations of five trainee doctors.
Authorities stated that the measures were taken amid concerns that the ongoing situation could negatively impact patient care and medical services in public hospitals.
The department emphasized its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services and maintaining discipline within the provincial health system.
