Chairlifts, Cable Cars and Zip Lines Planned at Major Airports in Pakistan

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced a major initiative for passengers, deciding to install chairlifts, cable cars, and zip lines at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports.

According to details, the new facilities will provide passengers with transportation from terminal buildings to parking areas through zip lines, cable cars, and chairlift systems.
The PAA Commercial Department has issued a tender and invited expressions of interest from interested companies. Applications have been directed to be submitted to the Director Commercial, PAA Headquarters Karachi.

Officials said the initiative aims to enhance passenger convenience while also providing an element of entertainment and saving travel time within airport premises.
