14 Terrorists Killed in Security Forces Operation in Balochistan’s Besima; Soldier Embraces Martyrdom

Quetta (Qudrat News) — Security forces killed 14 terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed militant group referred to by authorities as “Fitna al-Khawarij” during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Besima area of Balochistan, while a Pakistan Army soldier was martyred during the exchange of fire.

According to the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted in the Nal area of Besima after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists.

The ISPR stated that the militants were allegedly planning attacks on a police station and several banks. Acting on the information, security forces launched a swift operation to thwart their plans.

During the operation, security forces effectively blocked the terrorists’ movement and engaged them in a fierce gun battle. As a result, 14 terrorists were killed and several others were injured, according to the military statement.

The ISPR further said that four vehicles being used by the militants, along with improvised explosive devices (IEDs), were destroyed during the operation.

The military identified the fallen soldier as Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbas, who embraced martyrdom while performing his duty during the operation.

According to the ISPR, a clearance operation is still underway in the area to eliminate any remaining militants. The military reaffirmed its commitment to continuing counterterrorism operations until the threat of terrorism is completely eradicated.
