Pakistan Summons Parliamentary Sessions Ahead of Budget Presentation on June 12

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly and Senate sessions have been summoned for tomorrow, while the federal budget is scheduled to be presented on June 12.

According to official sources, President Asif Ali Zardari, on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has summoned sessions of both houses of Parliament.

The National Assembly will meet at 5:00 PM, while the Senate session has been called for 4:00 PM.

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry confirmed that the federal budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 will be presented in the National Assembly on Friday, June 12.

He added that Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the budget in the lower house of Parliament.
