Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Rejects ‘Exploitation of National Resources,’ Thanks Public for Massive Participation in Protests

Quetta (Khabar Desk) — The provincial secretariat of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has thanked the public, party workers, tribal elders, youth, and political activists for their large-scale participation in a public rally held in Brashore against the Mines and Minerals Act 2025, alleged unconstitutional allotments, and what the party described as the exploitation of national resources.

In a press release, the party also expressed appreciation for the successful and representative district conference held in Sherani, describing both events as a clear demonstration of public support for the protection of national rights, resources, democratic values, and political autonomy.

According to the statement, the overwhelming turnout at the Brashore public gathering and the Sherani conference showed that Pashtun communities have become more organized and aware of their political, economic, and national rights. The party said the public responded positively to its call and strengthened the ongoing struggle for what it termed national empowerment and self-determination.

The press release claimed that the participation of thousands of people in the Brashore rally defeated efforts aimed at discouraging public support for the movement against the Mines and Minerals Act 2025 and disputed resource allotments. The party asserted that people would not accept what it called the plundering of national resources, unconstitutional decisions, and exploitative policies.

The statement also praised party workers and residents of Sherani, saying the successful district conference had strengthened the party’s organizational structure and increased public confidence in its leadership. It added that the conference highlighted the party’s growing influence and position as an active political force in the region.

PNAP further stated that it considers itself the genuine political representative of the Pashtun people and remains committed to protecting their national, political, economic, and democratic rights. The party pledged to continue its struggle for public interests and national aspirations, saying it would not bow to any pressure.

The provincial secretariat concluded by describing public trust and support as a valuable asset and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding and strengthening its political movement for the protection of national resources, democratic values, public rights, and the future of the Pashtun homeland.
