Gilgit-Baltistan Elections: NOC Issued for Nawaz Sharif’s Campaign Visit

Gilgit: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz) leader Nawaz Sharif has been issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the election campaign in Gilgit-Baltistan, officials confirmed.

According to Dunya News, the NOC for the campaign visit was issued by the Gilgit-Baltistan Election Commission (Election Commission Gilgit-Baltistan), allowing the former prime minister to take part in political activities in the region.

The Election Commission stated that the permission has been granted for Nawaz Sharif’s election-related visit, subject to strict compliance with the electoral code of conduct.

Officials added that the PML-N leader is expected to arrive in Gilgit-Baltistan on June 2 to participate in campaign activities ahead of the elections.

Authorities emphasized that all political engagements during the visit must adhere to election regulations and legal requirements.
