Special Employment and Development Programs for Youth to Be Included in Budget 2026-27, Says Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has said that a special transformation-focused agenda has been prioritized in the upcoming annual budget 2026-27 to promote and encourage the youth of Balochistan.
He stated that the youth are being recognized as the architects of the future and important partners in the process of development.
He expressed these views while speaking during a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League (N) parliamentarians at the Governor House Quetta.
The Governor said that considering the severe poverty and unemployment in the province, new job opportunities will be created, and a special programme has been designed to address the rising unemployment among youth. Under this initiative, thousands of young people will be provided with dignified employment opportunities and modern career pathways.
He further said that PML-N parliamentarians should focus on programs that provide immediate employment opportunities. He added that more than ten medical courses and diploma programmes have been launched at Bolan Medical University, which will enable students to secure employment after completion.
He said that across all public sector universities, parallel investment is being made in modern skill development alongside quality education, including professional training, online IT courses, and medical diploma programmes.
The Governor added that by integrating quality education with modern skill training, youth are being prepared for a dynamic job market.
He urged the youth to utilize their potential, contribute actively to national development, and play their role in the progress of the province and the country. He said that through proper education, training, and empowerment of youth, a future will be ensured that is not only educated but also dynamic and aligned with 21st-century requirements.
