Son Arrested After Shooting Mother in Lahore’s Shadbagh Area

LAHORE: A woman was injured after her son opened fire on her in the Shadbagh area of Lahore, police said on Saturday.

According to police officials, the accused has been arrested and a case has been registered against him.

Police further stated that the suspect had a prior history of violence against his mother, with an earlier case of assault already registered against him.

Officials added that the accused had recently been released from jail and allegedly attacked his mother again upon returning home, before opening fire and injuring her.

The victim was shifted for medical treatment, while further investigation into the incident is underway.
