OGRA Seizes Millions of Liters of Illegal Fuel, Seals Unauthorized Oil Depot

ISLAMABAD:The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has seized millions of liters of illegally stored petrol and diesel during an enforcement operation carried out in the border region between Sindh and Balochistan.

According to an official statement, the fuel was being unlawfully stored at Hub, where authorities discovered large quantities of petrol and diesel kept in an oil depot operating without the required approvals.

OGRA stated that the private oil depot was functioning illegally as it did not possess a valid OGRA license or a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Defence.

Following the operation, OGRA’s enforcement team sealed the oil depot and took possession of the illegally stored fuel.

The regulator reaffirmed its commitment to taking strict action against unauthorized fuel storage and operations to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the country.
