Allama Nasir Abbas Rejects National Assembly Speaker’s Position as Based on Lies

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Opposition Leader in the Senate and head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, has completely rejected National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s statement, calling his claim based on lies, and said that regarding a meeting with Imran Khan, no contact was made with him or with Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

Speaking to the media at Parliament House, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas strongly reacted to the National Assembly Speaker’s recent interview. Expressing regret, he said that unfortunately, in Pakistan’s politics, the practice of lying, misrepresentation, and making statements against one’s conscience has become common. The Speaker’s claims about calling a conference and not meeting Imran Khan out of fear of opposition leaders are all fabricated. We only came to know about his statement through the media.

Furthermore, criticizing the judicial system, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that PTI founding chairman Imran Khan is not asking for any favor but is demanding his constitutional and legal right. If those responsible for delivering justice fear God, they should remember that at one time these courts were opened even at 12 midnight, but today in broad daylight, the door of the judiciary appears closed for delivering justice.

Referring to PTI’s September 27 protest, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that there is currently a strange and unjust situation in the country where all political parties have full permission to protest, but the country’s largest and most popular political party is being deprived of the fundamental right of democracy. The people of the entire country are watching how injustice and excesses are being committed against PTI.
