Eid-ul-Azha Prayer Timings Announced for Mosques and Eidgahs in Karachi

Karachi (Special Correspondent) – Arrangements have been finalized for Eid-ul-Azha prayers at hundreds of mosques and Eidgahs across Karachi, with congregations set to begin shortly after sunrise.

According to the announced schedule, Eid-ul-Azha prayers in the metropolitan city will be offered between 5:55am and 10:00am, while large crowds are expected at major prayer venues.

Eid Prayers at 5:55am

The Eid prayer will be offered at 5:55am at the following mosques:

Jamia Masjid Memon Complex, Block M, North Nazimabad
Saleh Masjid near Jahangir Park, Saddar
Jamia Masjid Usmania, Usmania Society, Nazimabad No. 1
Jamia Masjid Khulafa-e-Rashideen, Manzoor Colony
Jamia Masjid Ibrahim, Abdullah Gabol Goth
Eid Prayers at 6:00am

Congregations at 6:00am will be held at:

Suleman Yousuf Molai Park (former Gol Masjid)
Jamia Masjid Karachi Memon, Memon Cooperative Housing Society
Jamia Masjid Abu Zar Ghafari, Ittehad Town
Aab-e-Kausar Mosque, Nagan Chowrangi
Jamia Masjid Mustafa, Sector 16-A, Buffer Zone

In addition, Eid prayers will also be held at 6:00am in several mosques located in Lyari, North Karachi, Qasba Colony, and surrounding areas.

Eid Prayers at 6:15am and 6:30am
Jamia Masjid Memon, Jodia Bazaar – 6:15am
Jamia Masjid Khulafa-e-Rashideen, Gulshan-e-Iqbal – 6:15am
Jamia Masjid Zubair, DHA Phase 7 Extension – 6:30am
Saadi Town Main Gate Ground, Faizan-e-Auliya Mosque – 6:30am

Eid prayers at Eidgah grounds in Mahmoodabad, Ghani Goth, and Baldia Town will also be offered between 6:15am and 6:30am.

Major Central Prayer Venues

At the famous Tooba Mosque (Gol Masjid) in DHA Phase 2, Eid congregations are generally expected between 7:00am and 7:45am, with multiple prayer gatherings likely to take place.

In DHA mosques, Eid prayers are expected to begin around 6:50am with several prayer slots.

Meanwhile, Eid prayer at Eidgah Ground Nazimabad No. 3 will be held at 7:30am, while Qadri Masjid in Soldier Bazaar will hold its congregation at 10:00am.

Citizens have been advised to arrive early due to the expected rush. Eid prayer consists of two Rakats followed by a sermon, and traditionally no Azan or Iqamah is called before the Eid prayer.
