Marco Rubio Says Trump Will Not Rush Into Iran Deal Amid Ongoing Negotiations

Marco Rubio has said that Donald Trump is in no hurry to finalize an agreement with Iran and will not accept a “bad deal.”
Speaking to the media before departing from India after his official visit, Rubio said Washington had hoped to receive positive developments regarding the negotiations overnight, but Tehran required more time to respond.
Rubio stated that if an agreement is not reached, the United States would consider alternative options. He added that a strong diplomatic proposal remains on the table regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear issue.
Meanwhile, Iranian media claimed that Washington remains a major obstacle to several points of the proposed agreement. According to the reports, the US is unwilling to release Iran’s frozen assets, and the possibility of the deal collapsing still exists.
