PTI expresses deep grief over suicide attack on passenger train
Islamabad (Khabrain Report) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic suicide attack near Chaman Phatak on a passenger train, which reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of more than 24 people and left several others injured.
According to PTI’s Central Media Department, the party extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the families of the victims, stating that the entire nation stands with the affected families in this hour of grief. It added that such cowardly terrorist attacks cannot weaken the resolve of the nation, which remains united against terrorism.
PTI strongly condemned all forms of terrorism and reiterated that the country must unite to eliminate this menace. The statement also mentioned that in the attack, a nearby residential family, including Khalid Javed, his wife, a 13-year-old daughter, and an 8-year-old son, also lost their lives, highlighting the severity of the tragedy.

The party termed the incident a serious failure of both provincial and federal security systems, stating that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the primary responsibility of the state. It questioned previous claims of strict security control in Balochistan and other regions, asking where those assurances had gone amid worsening ground realities.
PTI demanded immediate, transparent, and impartial investigations into the incident, identification of those responsible, and provision of the best possible medical treatment to the injured. It further reiterated that the nation stands united in the fight against terrorism and will not tolerate such incidents under any circumstances.
