Peshawar Police Arrest Suspect in Stolen Eid Sacrifice Animal Case*

Peshawar: Police in the Bhana Mari area of Peshawar have arrested a suspect involved in the theft of a citizen’s sacrificial animal, officials said.

According to police, the complainant reported that a bull purchased for Eid sacrifice was stolen by an unknown individual. Following the report, police launched an immediate investigation.

Authorities said CCTV footage from the area was collected, and modern investigative techniques were used to trace and identify the suspect.

Police officials stated that the arrested suspect is addicted to the drug “ice” and allegedly stole the sacrificial animal to fund his addiction. The stolen bull was reportedly sold at a low price shortly after the theft.

Police have registered a case against the suspect, and further investigation is underway. Officials added that operations to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property have been intensified.
