Former Ambassador Ayaz Wazir’s Daughter Killed in Islamabad Road Accident

Islamabad: The daughter of former Pakistani ambassador Ayaz Wazir was killed in a road accident near the Parade Ground Metro Station in Islamabad, rescue officials confirmed.

According to reports, the accident occurred when a car allegedly went out of control due to overspeeding and mounted the footpath near the metro station area.

The victim, identified as Ryan Wazir, died at the scene. Her body was later shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital.

Media reports stated that the woman was allegedly using a mobile phone at the time of the accident; however, authorities said this aspect has not yet been officially confirmed.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
